Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Payment may be made by using our credit and debit card secure payment scheme using the following:- Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch, Delta, Solo. We regret we are unable to accept American Express or Visa Electron cards for Internet purchases. As goods are subject to availability we do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship, see Back Orders. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
There is a standard rate of £3.95 for orders up to 1kg in weight, for orders above 1kg please see the table below. Our website calculates the weight of your order and postage and packaging will be charged accordingly. The appropriate charge will be automatically added to your order before any transaction is completed to allow alterations or cancellations if required.

Delivery Schedule
On receipt of your order, goods will normally be dispatched within 48hrs, dependent on current stock levels. If a product should be out of stock orders will be completed and despatched a.s.a.p. Once despatched, delivery will normally be within 3 - 4 working days (Mon-Fri) for all deliveries to England, Wales, Scotland including the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Man.
If in the unlikely event that your goods are not received within 10 working days of ordering, please notify us by email at info@essentials-direct.co.uk or by telephone on 017772 624462 and quote your order no. We cannot be held liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay on delivery of the goods.
Back Orders
If after placing your order it is found that a product is temporarily unavailable then you will be contacted by email and given the option to cancel your order. If we have not received notification to cancel within 24hrs then the remaining products will be despatched. Please re-order any unavailable items at a later date. Product availability may be obtained by email on info@essentials-direct.co.uk or on Tel 01772 624462. We do not operate a back order system

If at any time you are not completely satisfied with the goods you have received, please notify us by email at info@essentials-direct.co.uk within 2 working days of your delivery. You should then arrange for the unwanted items to be returned to us unopened and in the condition in which they were received. We recommend you send the goods recorded delivery for your own protection. On receipt of the returned goods we will arrange for your account to be credited with the full cost of the goods only. Please note credit card companies do not allow refunds to any other card. You must allow 7 working days for a refund to be acknowledged by your credit card company.
